On February 23rd, 2025, ISUZU Vietnam Co., Ltd. (ISUZU Vietnam) with the support of representatives from ISUZU Motors Limited (IML), Dealer ISUZU Minh Nhi – Binh Duong successfully organized Eco-drive seminar for Vo Gia Logistics Company. This is the first program to apply IML’s new fuel consumption measurement method from Japan to the Vietnamese market.
The training program was organized with the participation of 12 drivers, managers and Board of Directors, which has affirmed customers’ practicality and special attention to safety, fuel saving, improving skills & optimizing efficiency of vehicle operation. In the opening statement, Mr. Takehiro Kawamura, Senior General Manager of ISUZU Vietnam, expressed gratitude to the customers for taking the time to participate in the training program. He also particularly appreciated the support of representatives from IML who came to Vietnam to conduct the training. Mr. Kawamura emphasized that this program was very special, as Vo Gia Logistics Company was the first in Vietnam to apply a new fuel consumption measurement method from Japan. He hoped this method would be expanded to other customers in Vietnam.
The Eco-Drive seminar not only makes valuable contributions of fuel saving to businesses, but also contribute to environmental protection with decreasing the amount of exhaust gases. The application of the new measurement method offers convenience and higher accuracy, thereby providing useful advice to help drivers improve their driving skills.

During the training, to express gratitude to Vo Gia Logistics for reaching the milestone of owning more than 100 ISUZU trucks, ISUZU Vietnam presented a certificate of commemoration and gifts to the General Director of Vo Gia Logistics. Both companies affirmed their commitment to continue developing and cooperating in the future.

During the program, under the guidance of ISUZU, participants engaged in 03 topics:
- Instructions on Eco-driving by ISUZU (Theory & practice)
- Instructions on daily maintenance and inspection of the vehicle from ISUZU
- Vehicle’s Health Report Explanation; Q&A
Accordingly, participants joined in driving practice in two ways: normal driving according to daily practice and eco-driving according to the skills instructed by ISUZU Vietnam & IML. With the implementation of this new method, ISUZU aims to contribute to reducing fuel consumption for the company. After the training session, the average fuel savings of the two vehicles was over 10% compared to the usual consumption.
